While on the topic of changes, how would you two feel about removing the comments' sections and replacing them with talkpages? I feel it would be nice to have a professional area to discuss changes to articles rather than an area where users just post random things and curse. Those things can be done in Blogs and such.
Another thing, is there any particular reason this wikia doesn't have a chat room? I think that'd be a nice addition. These would both be simple changes to make. What say you guys?
Sorry for the late response (no notification appeared for some reason), but the design looks great! It'd definitely be a welcome update to what is currently in place.
As for the suggested changes, I'm not sure about changing to talk pages. The comments section - in its current state - is a relatively active section, and the comments themselves are mostly people giving their opinions on the characters they post to. These commentators are majority anonymous, so it is unlikely that they would participate in conversation if the section was swapped to a talk page. The profanity isn't necessarily a problem, but should still be kept to a reasonable standard, i.e. not just swearing, or at least directed towards a character themselves. Overall, better moderation of the section itself is what I'd say should be done. This isn't to say I'm not open to the idea, I just feel that it'd be better if we were to leave the comments section in place while perhaps implementing some form of policies or rules to improve its quality.
A chat room should be fine, however. If it's not used, it won't take up space, but if it is, then, well, it'll be used. To be honest, I though I already had the option enabled.
Hey there! I'm reaching out to see how you'd feel about adding a link to the "A Silent Voice" page on Kodansha's (manga publisher) site on the main page of this wikia? Looking at what you have on the main page currently, maybe we could add something under the affiliates section? Since Koe no Katachi is a popular title, they're excited to see a community like yours supporting it :) Let me know what you think!
